Esta palestra responder\u00e1 sobre os tr\u00eas grandes desafios que faltam vencer, os desafios t\u00e9cnicos e humanos, para chegarmos, definitivamente, ao espa\u00e7o.\n\nH\u00e1 anos que este paraibano interessa-se pela busca de conhecimento, o que o levou a Florian\u00f3polis em 1988, onde \u00e9 professor da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina desde os anos 90. Mestre e doutor em engenharia, tornou-se meio cidad\u00e3o mundial, j\u00e1 que a sua busca o levou a outras terras como Jap\u00e3o, Inglaterra e Estados Unidos. Neste \u00faltimo, foi pesquisador na NASA, no Vale do Sil\u00edcio, onde realizou seu p\u00f3s-doutorado. Sua pesquisa se concentra em desenvolver sistemas de Intelig\u00eancia Artificial para organizar o conhecimento em v\u00e1rias \u00e1reas.
